A cracking team of swimmers took part in the East Invicta Championships on the weekend of the 1st December. Once again they were a credit to the club and there were many fantastic swims. The coaches that were poolside for the event commented on the awesome team spirit and the way that the children all work together to support each other.

The individual swims were amazing and the children then pulled together to form very competitive relay teams on the second weekend. The women’s 9/10 years 4x50m Medley team were the most successful, achieving a 3rd place overall. This team consisted of Leena, Jessica, Molly and Amber and they swum impressively well together.
There were many other swimmers and this event and they all managed PBs, Club Records or Kent Improved of Consideration Times. It was a fantastic event for Faversham Swimming Club. They are looking forward to their next chance to represent their club.
